Little is said on how one can use influence and persuasion online. There are few guides to applying influence tactics to email broadcasts, landing pages and blogging. I have searched for academic research on this topic and have come up with close to nothing within that realm as well.
Here are the questions I am looking at:
- How can write emails so that they apply all of Cialdini's principles of influence without feeling contrived or salesy in any way?
- How can you run a website, blog and forum together to create real sense of community, authority and scarcity as an industry leading resource?
- How can an online business increase sales by ensuring it has certain resources and offerings in place?
- How can you change the context of your buying experience and price environment to alter perceptions of cost? For example using the word "tuition" instead of "fees" for a certification based product.
